It's going to be a TON of fun. Not much vegatation around for the crappie to spawn in so I think most will be caught off brush in 5-9 foot of water. Unless the lake comes up 5 foot then it might be in 1 foot of water.

naw only reason is cause fork is big fish and not stringer but you still better watch out for pines.....think 12lbs would win but maybe even 13 never know.

That's what I like! Seminars from the knowledgeable people like the reigning Division 1 State Champions. I will be there!

Suggestion: pre fish as much as possible before this one. Not only will you find a lot of brushpiles but you will catch a lot of big fish in the next three weeks.

Pines will probably have the biggest winning stringer but I predict tha average team weight will be better at Texoma.

Start by fishing the tournament at Big mineral this Sat. Good practice and you may see some good fishermen on their best spots.

Rick and I have built several new brushpiles recently. They should have fish on them by now and you are welcome to fish them. Just look in 15' water near a dropoff (Just out from the the fresh stumps)

Hopefully the lake will put out a bunch of these for everyone...TEX is certainly capable of it in April:
