I remember reading somewhere on the forum about a guy that was mad about boaters going too fast and that he had a slingshot and lug nuts. Coincidence?

You remember correctly, and I have discussed this with George. End of story. This thread already got locked once, I think we need to let it go already.

Yesterday morning, I got 16 in about 2 hours. I brought my dad back around 2 to get him in on the action and we got skunked. I chalked it up to the low pressure system that was moving in. I know I've been catching them all week at that time of day, and I know there were fish in there. Hiked up and down the bank from 4:30 till 6:45 and only caught two small crappie . but I did find a free Box of night crawlers and a water snake .

Hello and Welcome to the Forums. I think if you are out there twice a week, you probably know more good spots than I do, because I haven't been out here since late last year around November. I didn't catch anything for the first two hours, so I got up and moved about 300 feet or so and the bite was on....you just got to find them sometimes. I've been thinking of getting a portable fish finder like this one. Fish Finder

that fish finder looks like a cool deal except for the 35' cord. i wonder id you can rig a longer cord to it so it can be fired out a good 100 yards. has anybody tried these fissh finders before?
