I've had a number of waders over the years. I've had the best luck with L. L. Bean and Simms products. I had miserable luck with a pair of Orvis' then high-end waders fail along a seam and them not wanting to repair it under warranty, wanting to offer me 40% off a new pair this was after a year and a half of rather light use.

Try on different waders from a number of manufacturers, find some that fit you well in all areas (chest, hips, legs, and feet), then find a pair of good wading boots. I have a wide foot and the easiest wading boots in terms of getting in and out of them have been the Simms Freestone.

Good luck in your search for the right wader.
