The longest winter of my life finally ended.
Last weekend got out for the first boat trip since Nov. and caught 24 big Crappie at 28' depth.
Yesterday, filleted 26, all from 6' depth. Quite a difference. Water is warming and fish are moving shallow fast.

Good job Ernest. Must have been up north. There's fish in the basket at the Office if anyone needs a mess. If not I will go Wednesday or Thursday and clean them.

Talked with the Master yesterday and was glad to hear he's doing better... Looking forward to maybe fishing  soon with Ernest, both of us still have some recovering to do...  Jigum

It was fun fishing with you and Rick. I think I need a couple of those Crappie Cat jigs that you guys were killin em on. They were knocking the pizz out of the jigs yesterday. It sure is fun to catch hungry agressive fish in shallow water. Temp 53.

After i dropped Ernest off at the dock, i found a bunch more
on shallow brush, water was 60 way back in the coves
