i was wading in the Hell hole at firewheel last year and a guy had 11 undersized hybrids. he claimed he spoke no english, so i asked Martin, the game warden, if he could come down and translate it for me in the form of a ticket. Martin got down there and and the guy saw him coming and tried to go up the other bank but the guys and i blocked him so the only way out was to wade in neck high water. he tried though, filled his waders and backed off... and then went to the bank where Martin threw the book at him. i thin he said he impounded his car and gear along with tickets be cause he spoke perfect english, and even after a couple other guys had told him, including me, he was warned so Martin threw everything at him.... ill tell people one time the rules, and if they ignore it, thats when i call on them.
Martin: 214-886-4074 ( Coolest Warden ) Sergio: 972-754-2934 ( this guy is balls to the wall )

What sort of an area does a game warden cover? How do I go about finding the number to my local game warden?

Report them. The GW'S office sometimes give you a number and after the criminals are fined you may get 10 % of the fine. I see this happen a lot below the dam at Livingston. I had a GW stop me and gave me his card and told me to report this kinda stuff and take pictures if possible. After they are fined I could receive 10 % of the fine for reporting them. My pet peeve is watchin people use a castnet to catch whites and make several trips to their vehicle. I always carry my camera with me now and it will zoom in really close and if that is not enough the computer will bring it in more. This is an easy way to get TX numbers or a vehicle license plate.

You have to report them. I was talking to a guy last time I was fishing at a local pond. I told him that they were biting real good at another fishing spot a few miles away. He said that he would not go back there because he got caught with 2 fish over the limit and a $240 fine. I said well you knew what you were doing when you kept them so now you know the end results. There were some asian people that fished a pier in Florida. I would see them take everything that they hooked no matter what the size. Some are just that way I guess.

Thanks Mike Tbob. Just put my local warden in my phone. No problem! Hey! I have been to Fire Oak Grill...I work for UPS and I used to cover that route often...we have probably met before. Great food!
