Boil'em like crawfish and grab a cold beer.
Really,the best way to eat those guys is raw like an oyster.
Slice'em into nuggets and hit them with lemon

im amazed at how big it got in 1.5 yrs. never ate one before. sorry if this comes off as a stupid question. but id like to know: does the flavor change at all when they get to be that size? by this i mean, does is taste like shrimp we can buy at sams or your local grocery store?

Prawns and shrimps are entirely different species. Taste and texture are better when they are bigger. If you ever find colossal shrimp with a blue tint shell at the grocery store, chances are its the same prawn.
