Based on what I have heard and read, you may be in for a tough day of fishing unless you are a seasoned RR veteran. Hopefully, the weather may be nice though?

i'm heading out there in a week or so and i posted a few days ago. The water still seems to be cold from the responses i have gotten. People suggested i used red traps or gold ones around rocks and secondary points. I'm no pro and don't fish RR much but i hope it helps. When ya go could you send me the results on how you did?

I think the combination of cold water and the gates being wide opened have made fishing a little tough. I was out Saturday and found water up to 50 degrees, but did not have any luck. If we can avoid rain, keep getting sun and the night temps quit dipping into the 30s, I think things will improve fast.

Oh, and I should mention that the lake is very muddy right now.

I usually fish twice a week and the last few weeks have been very tough, 46 degree water in most places, stained to muddy, one gate is open 3.5 feet and one 2 feet. Maybe in a couple of weeks if they shut the gates this week.

Saw 46 to 48 degree water today. Did a lot of running around looking at things. Did catch one early this morning on a red trap. Man it is cold and a bit muddy. They are pulling a bunch of water out of there.
