I'm heading to CBSP tomorrow and will report back when I get in on Thursday. Thanks for the heads up on the log jam on the Guad Shortstrike.

We went out last weekend and did ok. Saw lots of stringers of fish and heard of a few folks catching their limit. We stayed at Sulphur Springs and mainly fished there. Took one canoe trip all the way to the state park and in some stretches saw long lines of folks in their tubes. Just about everything we caught was just over 12" and male. My recommendation is if you go to the park walk up stream for about 1/2 mile above main camping area. If heading to Sulphur Springs, start around the "primitive road" area and work down stream.

Well the little wife and I are heading out to CBSP for the first time this weekend. Staying Fri. night at Morris or Barefoot camp and driving to CBSP Sat. morning. Wanting to get away and try some new waters to us. I'll be the handsome feller wearing a teamredneck Tee shirt with a goofy Blonde taggin along. Please don't tell her I said that. LOL. May actually try to catch a few with my fly rod. Am a beginner so if you see a big blonde redneck with a fly stuck in the back of his ear please don't laugh too hard and just give me plenty of room.Ha Ha. Ok, for my spin tackle it's 2" twisters and or jigs under bobbers slow retrieve. See ya on the water.
