I never would have suspected an "illegal alien" was responsible for all the littering. I have been accusing the wrong guy all these years?

If you want to access a pond regardless of where it is located, contact the owner of the property (can be done at the tax office) and get written permission from the landowner.
It is no different to have someone come onto your property, set up a campsite, tent, campfire, in your front yard in front of your house and relax in a hammock or lawn chair...it is trespassing. If that landowner gave you permission, then you would be legal to set up a campsite or fish their pond, otherwise, it is trespassing.
That's one reason why there is so little access to so many farm ponds not to mention hunting throughout the state since others did not take care of the land they were given permission on (not saying you didn't, because you did gather trash before you left) but by others or didn't abide by the landowners 'do's and don'ts' or thought you could just meander on the land since it wasn't posted or signed...it doesn't have to be in Texas.
Landowners just don't want to deal with the hassle anymore, or at least some of them do not, plus the possibility of the ones on their land sueing them for an accident, sting, bite, broken this or that, etc. Well put

Actually I did view this at work. Check the time... I was at lunch. Did my first post make me sound like an A$$???? To answer that question...YES. Typical cop attitude. I have a theory about most cops and their bad attitude. Have you ever seen a male cop that does not remind you of the dorky guys from school? NOPE Ever see one that's comfortable and confident in himself? Without the badge? NOPE Ever meet one out of uniform that maintain the same level of arrogance and attitude as when in uniform? NOPE I think most have a bad attitude because they feel inferior. That's why they became a cop in the first place isn't it? To feel like a real man.

Just like you couldn't do mine. You would get yourself killed. Put it in perspective. Put yourself in a cops shoes before you make all your assumptions. You will whine and complain when the cops are on to your for something like traffic or what not. But you will cry for our help when you get your stuff stolen or are in need of an officer to come save your rear for you.
And why cant a guy want to be a cop for the job? Some folks like to help people. Half of us are former military and aren't suited well to work to many other jobs. I wanted to try to make a difference, try to take drugs off the street, and do my part to be a productive member of society. So to be a man I have to be all macho and sit behind a desk all day? Just becuase I choose to do a job that you can't handle dosen't make me any less of a man than you. I'm an every day guy that does the same things you do. I hunt and fish like everyone else and try to lead a good life. If you met me out on the water you would not know that I am a cop. I dress like every other guy.
Sorry for the rant but civilians errk me. (I have edited this to include that I am making fun of the above post and that is really not my view)
lol
But really, I'm not gonna get in to a pissin match about who is more manly. I'm sure you're like a professional athlete or something...

No i'm off today, and if you read the post above mine it was in direct response to it. I was making fun of it.
I take my job serisouly and it pisses me off when folks talk down on the police because we are the ones that serve and protect. I ain't perfect and never claimed to be. There are a lot of a$$hole cops out there, just like lots of a$$hole people. Dont judge a group of people becuase you've had to deal with one of the bad ones. I put my butt on the line every day to serve and protect all persons. Even the criminals can be victims some times and we have to serve them as well. I treat all perosns I have to deal with in my course of duty equally and fairly without judgement or opinions.

boy I hope some of you guys never need a cop real bad. I can see where he is getting pissy getting slammed just because he is a cop. Boudreaux, you have a difficult job just like most people and some of us do appreciate the effort.

Somebody needs a HUG! I thought I'd through some gas on the fire. Your right police are vital to any society. I get a little pissed off when a cop stops me for speeding. However, afterwards, I realize, well you know I broke the law, whose fault would that be for the ticket. UHH....me. I could have killed somebody, maybe a kid at school zone crosswalk. So if you think about it that cop just might have save more lives than just one(me) with that stop. That is the long winded version of saying, I'm with you.

Oh but wait. There are many more reasons to dislike cops in general. Professional courtesy is one biggy for me. NO one,and I mean no one,is supposed to be above the law. But ask a cop how many tickets he has received from others. Or how many he has given to judges, other cops, and others. NONE usually.

Be VERY careful about trashing the Police and the Military. There is an a--hole in every crowd. Don't lable all cops as bad because of just one or two bad apples. Let's face it, not all cops you met were bad. I don't believe that. They are very neccessary. Just don't break the law, and you won't have a problem with them. As simplistic as that sounds, it works. As far as trashing the military, that's pretty offensive to me. I come from a military family. All four branches are in my family. THEY ALL GET AN ATTA BOY!!!! I didn't join because I decided to ride the rodeo circuits instead. But I always wished I did. They voluntered to serve this country. That has no meaning to you? Career soldiers or four year enlisted soliers, A SOLDIER IS A SOLDIER! If you think they are just waiting for an atta boy, that is completely wrong. In most cases they are the most humble people. By the way, you wouldn't be able to get away with bad mouthing the military in China. You can here, because of free speech. For that....THANK A SOLDIER!!! Sorry if I offended you by all this. I really didn't mean to. I think you should just re-evaluate your attitude about the very people that keep us free, both cops and soldiers.

BTW,being post military is no reason to NOT be suited for a different job. I fel the same about most military people as I do cops. Just looking for an attaboy,or wtg,or thanks for your service. People that are in to serve our country typically are in it for the long haul. Not 3 years and off to cop school so I can be a bada$$ with a gun. I bet you argue everything possible and when your not right...well...read your post on this thread...you'll get the point...i think.
