So how is that cleaned and divided? Always wondered, havent taken an offshore trip of that nature before. Its just a private charter. The boat was a 43' Viking Convertible out of Venice Louisiana. $1200 for twelve hours back in June of 1998. I say twelve hours but most times they turn out to be an hour or two longer. Get to know your Captain and work out a game plan. Do it by yourself or take a group of friends and go fishing. We went looking for Marlin and Tuna. The Captain had boated two Marlin the day before with one being 400 lbs. Left out, went straight to that rig and started trolling. The Tuna were thick that day. We never got a Marlin but the Tuna more than made up for it. All the others caught were in the 40 to 80 pound range. Made a stop and caught some nice size Red Snapper on the way in. They clean the fish. You should always Tip in my book.

Bleeds the fish gives the fish better taste as well as kills it from thrashing. I do the same for sharks
