looks good, how much do you weigh, how much weight do you think it will float after testing it out.

What boat do you have from CA? I wonder if you can add the foam pontoons to the existing frame you already have?
It's more than the catfish would do.

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

I will attempt to answer above questions in one post. Sumo- I weigh 220 lbs and after my test float I have decided to extend the pontoons from 4' to 5'-6". At 5'-6", I think it would easily handle someone 250 lbs maybe more. I will still make the 4 footer, but feel the weight limit will be around 150 lbs. For those wanting a bigger float with intentions of hanging a motor on the back, I will have to postpone because of TPWD and Coast Guard fees to get set up. It will cost several hundred dollars and I dont want to make the investment until I get a feel for where this thing is headed. If you want, I can make, say, an 8 footer with oar locks but no motor mount. Sumo again- the glue I use for that is called foamcoat. I really do appreciate the feedback from all of you. The water is getting warmer and if any of you want to test drive my float, I'll be glad to meet you with one somewhere.

I like it. I'm 220 right now, and fish from a fishcat. Wouldn't mind having one of those to see how it would hold up to my rough treatment.

If I werent so pontoon rich right now I would buy one. I think they would be perfect for Lavon dam, Denton creek, some parts of RC, and any where else you can just walk in but dont want a heavy load to carry. Of course you can do the same with a tube but I like having just from my knees to my feet in the water.

How wide is it, will it fit in a small truck? I sure do hope so.

Can you have a trolling motor on one of those without getting it serial numbered, inspected, boat-numbered, certified, game warden looked at, and sanctified by the TPW Holy Ghost?
