Full moon, bright clear skies, cold nights.. It's happening at night! Has anyone witnessed spawning in the early am? I suspect the fish are tuckered out from the all night parties

You should try to walk to Newmans from the bridge one time. I think you will find that it is much farther than you think. I did it one time, and that one time will be the last time I will do it. It is a very very long trip if you follow the creek my friend.

I suspect the fish are tuckered out from the all night parties Ben, I don't think the fish are doing anything right now. I think the water has cooled down too much for them to spawn. If they were spawning undere the full moon, then you would strat seeing these fish in the shallow water towards the end of the day starting to do their thing. But they're not doing anything right now.

Thomas and hoggwild which one of you called me today? You both sound alike and I forgot to save the number. I didn't fish today but I have been getting limits everyday I have went out until yesterday. Mon, thurs, fri, and saturday. One of you let me know who wants to go this weekend.

I have broken a rod tip too. Went to Irwin's bridge this morning, walked all the way almost to Newman's bottom since I can talk to the fishermen on the other of bank. They told me they were about an mile from Newman's bottom parking lot. For all day I have not seen anyone with a long string of fish, only a few. I caught 6. Not really bad, I will try my luck next week.

I was at Irwin myself. My dad, brother(thomasr22) and myself. I ended up with 5, brother 3, dad 0. We walked all the way to newmans before we found any fish. It seemed like the creek is dropping???? ALOTTTTT of people out today with no one even near limits.

Tried Irwin Bridge this evening and did a lot of walking!!!! What happened to all the fish I was hearing about during the week? Tried every color in my bag and ended up with just one white. I hope this next week will be better.

I fished the Irwin Bridge area this afternoon/evening. Started out upstream, but not even a bite so headed downstream. Walked downstream pretty far and picked up one fish. On the way back, as it was starting to get darker, I passed three guys who looked to have a pretty good bite going. Tried a couple more spots right at dusk and picked up three more fish. I also noticed a little more surface activity right before I left.
