Hey guys, i was just illustrating a pt. there are sandies in places besides RC! And good ones. And you don't have to stand on top of each other competing to see whose lure gets in the fish's face first!

This is WRC. Up near the Royal Oaks Country Club. Been fishing it since about '75 and it always looks like this crowd wise. And the fish are almost always this size, although admittedly when it warms up a bit more, it will give up limits of magnums regularly!

Heading back out there, now that i am off work. should be there in about 10-15 minutes.

Rudy

The tourney sounds great, but I work saturdays and sundays so my fishing is done weekdays or at night after work. I had two days off this week in the middle of the week. the only reason i got to hit wrc.

Rudy

I work two jobs

Two jobs and still have time to fish thats great rudy. And finding these little out of the way places also to fish. Most dont go venture out on their own to find the fish, only fish where its posted. For years ive been looking at goggle and mapquest and looking at all the little out of the way places to fish with ponds and creeks, most of the time thou its hard to find a place to park or its private land lol but i have found some spots to always catch fish in but just have a walk to get there or muddy to get there and not much bank to fish from but i mainly look at areas close to me for the sake of convience lol.
Good luck on your fishing
Mark

Rudy,
I know EXACTLY where that is...it's where all the WalMart Bagbirds go to roost! Quite a flock of 'em there.
Drop me a p.m. I think I'm available this Monday or Tuesday. Maybe we ca lasso Papa Peck.

Looks familiar, to a spot we have fished for a few years and the hybrids run in shallow water, kind of tricky to get to but well worth it. May be the same. Any type of crowd the bites goes to nothing so it must remain low key...The fish in our creek that size get spoked easy. but you can pull 5-7 in before they catch on.

Way to go Rudy,
Those are great on the grill Giant fish steaks.
Season up.

The markings on those look like sandies but no way on the size
I dont know much about stripers but what we catch are hybrids.
Big fight on a ultra lite.

they are white bass, no doubt about it.

I like them on the white coals wrapped in foil coated in olive oil with some salt, pepper, paprika, garlic or lemon butter and fresh chopped onions .

That's livin' Brutha!

Rudy,

Do you cook them whole? I thought people said it was necesary to remove the "red line" in order to get them to tase right. Is this not true?

Thanks,
George
