I'm not bashing guys that refuse to move at all, despite what RayBob would like to think. Everyone has their own right to a public lake, and you can do as you well please. That's obvious from the scores of jetskiers and wakeboarders that roll into the coves sometimes occupied by fisherman. Raybob, you should take your own advice and think before you pop off as well.
Stumpjumper made a point of not being a fan of tournament fishing at all, for his own reasons, and took the extra effort to bash Ray Scott. It is his remarks that are immaturely hateful. I don't know what ax he has to grind, and frankly, I don't care, but his attitude is basically "screw tournament fishing," or at least that is the way it comes across. Not too friendly, I suppose.
As I've stated, everyone has equal rights to the public water. Now, if I knew a big tournament was going to be on a nearby lake, I'd most likely make plans for another lake. But it sounds to me like there are a few on here that don't like people coming in and fishing "their" lake and taking up a weekend doing so. Whatever. I like to think of fishing as an inclusive sport, rather than an exclusive sport. I understand not moving because a pro is being disrespectful or just because you are on the fish and you got there first. Fine and dandy. What I don't like is the attitude that someone is just gonna hate on tournament fishing and go out of their way to bash it. Makes very little sense to me, but once again, to each his own, I guess...
Husker, it is definitely interesting to hear a different side to that story. Seems like everyone is quite quick to point fingers without knowing all the facts, if indeed that third party account is true.

If I knew there was a big Tournament there, i wouldnt go just to fish anyway. Now, as far as moving, and i seen where someone says people are jackholes for not moving, agree and disagree:
I wouldnt be so rude to fish the spot because i seen someone there catching fish, i find my own fish.
If i was in a tournament and i found those fish in the previous week on my own, i aint leaving, cause 1000 to me is like 100,000 to them.
If i wasnt in a tournament: If they ask and wasnt rude, sure i would leave. If they acted like they owned it, Im staying.
last factor, how good my memory is regarding the comments some of them made regarding co-anglers. Those who were just arrogant may not get any courtesy.
