found this place virtually in the middle of the city:      With a cool looking moon in a late afternoon blue sky overhead:  And in this place, I found these:   Imagine that! Notice all the elbow to elbow fishermen! Rudy

Nice find there..I'd keep that place on the down low. The reason they where so big was because its not over fished.

The city is Dallas, and this place is less than 5 minutes from the school i am working in this week. Been fishing this spot since about 1975 or so. And this time of yr, it has ALWAYS produced results like the ones you see in the pics.
It was weird, caught a male(the slender ones) and a female for each one. Except for that 15 plus incher by the tape measure.
She was a dandy, no doubt. The fat ones are egg laden as you might imagine.
Water is so clear rt now, and rushing like a trout stream.

Not giving up the spot eh? I understand that. do you know the name of the creek? I don't need to fish your spot, it just looks like it may have other good spots as well. a plce without a lot of folks would be great. PM me if you don't want to post it.

Nice find Rudy, I have seen a spot like that before that i never see people fish at but cant find a place to park to get to it, BUT i see it from the highway since the creek goes under it but its on the outskirts of the big buildings. Going west is all ill say about it. Good catch

looks like maybe the creek around love field..above the lake. or maybe one of the other trinity feeder creeks. could even be lower turtle creek
