I have figured it out. The person who started this thread is a woman. Women get disgusted by a lot of things that men do. So, Ike didn't think ahead that he would offend her by doing that. He was just excited.

WRONG!
When PETA/ANTI fishing groups get videos of Ike slinging fish around in the air holding them by the lip, tucking them under his arm and running around the boat, you can bet your hiney they are using them, and it will affect us all in the end. They have been fighting to stop hunting shows for years. If they ever get that done you can bet fishing will be next. We are in a constant battle with anti hunting/fishing groups. Why give them more ammunition? I know you may be saying, screw em, I don't care what they think. But remember what type of liberal people are running this country now and remember that more than half of the people voted for them. They outlawed mountain lion hunting in California. And you can bet the antis used pics and videos of hunters when they started the battle. The Fox hunters in England never thought they would loose their sport of Fox hunting. In 2004 it was banned. Yes what someone else does, does affect us all.

Well I read the 1st page and the last page, and this thing is sliding sideways from where it originated. I work with, and fish with alot of tobacco chewers and it really doesnt bother me. I too noticed last year that he was spitting while on T.V.! Happens all the time but if you are going to spit on T.V., (DON'T SPIT LIKE A BITCH MAN) even the gal in titanic can spit better than him! I have come to like some of the antics but learn how to spit boy!!!!!!!!!

he is very energetic and is always fun to watch because you dont know what he is going to do next

Reasons why I hate Ike:

He spits on national TV
He holds the fish wrong
He yells too loud when he catches a fish
He hits his head too hard on the windshield
He listens to Rap music
He has a funny hair-do
He is from Jersey
He kicked the lightpole holding the flag

Funny he never spits on his (City Limits) fishing shows! I wonder why? Come to think of it he actually acts like a regular person on (HIS) show, Hmm. Yep must be a media thing, can't wait to see him pissing off the front of his boat in the elite series this year, that outta really pull in some attention.

I never said I hated Ike, so please don't assume that I do. I was just making a statement about what he did that I didn't think was appropriate (I'm entitled to express my opinion). I have learned that he does this carp for publicity which turns into money in his pocket. You ladies will not let this die. Why do I say ladies?? After reading all these post, there have been comments directed towards me referencing I'm a lady, a sissy, (I'm sure the "P" word would have come out if it weren't for fear of getting banned..) etc.. It sure is funny reading comments from internet tough guys..

Lastly, again, I don't hate the man. He's a helluva fisherman and I have read numerous post about him going out of his way to help kids - WHICH IS GREAT. He just puts on a different face and personality when the camera's hit him.
