Did anybody see his nice little episode when he caught a decent fish and then laid down on his back and spit up in the air behind him - TWICE.. All you Ike lovers can tear me up all you want, but that was disgusting..!! Better not go to a Papa Roach concert if this offends you! That dude spits everywhere.

Some people are afraid of things that are different. I would put a half a pouch of chew in and spit on myself to be fishing for a living and in the top 5 for the classic.

He has done alot for the sport and has attracted younger crowds which will make the sport live longer. I have met him also and he is really a cool guy that will push his schedule back and run late to talk to kids. Thats the future of our sport

The reason he is so dramatic is because he is always trying to build his brand, be different and stick out from the crowd. He is famous for two reasons, one he is a great fishermen and two he is a crazy SOB when on the water. I think it works quite well. If you actually hang out with him he is rather normal and not what he is portrayed to be

Football players spit and seriously act like toolbags when they do anything, baseball players spit and seems every other day one is busted for steroids, Hockey players spit and beat the [censored] out of each other, soccer players, well I dunno what they do because I can't make myself watch soccer, The point is EVERY sports players spit. Who cares?
Hell spitting isn't as bad as when they blow snot rockets on camera.
I can't stand Ike's behavior, but hell I dont want to see him gone, the guy does a LOT for Fishing and getting more people to watch. He's just like Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper, 99.9% of all "Gangsta Rappas", hell ANYONE else in the entertainment business. That's exactly what they do... they sell entertainment to all of us.
