jigs and roadrunners i prefer 1/8 or 1/16. take all kind of colored tails. 6 or 8 pound test line. fish close to the bottom drag it if you can. you can use any action rod but light or ultra light is the most fun. good luck.

Also try and take a short ultralight spinning rod. Grab a backpack for drinks, fishing gear (extra spool of line as well) etc., pick up trash when ya can, and don't cast at anyone's feet across the creek.
Good luck smile

I sure thought about going yesterday. It wouldn't be the first time that I've fished in the snow. I would be willing to bet that there were some people down there today.

We ended up with about two inches on the ground today. It was awesome, real big fluffy flakes the size of silver dollars or bigger. When that hit, it didn't take long for it to cover the ground.

I think the bite is still on myself.

anybody gonna attempt any bank fishing on Friday? If so, let me know, I'd like to have some company! I figure 48 hours is enough to hopefully get them moving again!

it is on county road 124/132. you can either park right by the bridge or go on the dirt road and park in that circle.

I may go tomorrow. I had a few things around here that I needed to do, but it's all done and I'm now free to fish.

Here's the spot of the bridge in google map:

Zoom in to satelite view for details. You can make a route from CS to the bridge. Make sure to pay $3 at the honor box unless you have annual SP pass.

I went fishing today. It's a beautiful day out there. The fish is still there. We did pretty good, didn't find a honey hole, but managed to catch fish everywhere. Ended up with 30 fish ( 2 person). I saw some folks limited out with strings of whites.

How far do you walk from the bridge or are there several holes along the creek?

Went out Tuesday afternoon with my 3 boys and we only caught 3 fish at the bridge (just upstream of the bridge). We ended up giving our 3 fish to someone who had none and then a wonderful lady and her husband who caught over 43 gave us 12 when we were leaving. Great eating!

We are going this afternoon and need some guidance. Should we go upstream or downstream now? If we don't catch any, then should we continue walking to look for another hole?
