I am an old man and own about 45 or 50 rods. I just don't see buying anymore until I wear these out.

But I do like the idea of the extra length in a medium action rod for distance in casting. I have trouble throwing a crankbait over about 20 yards.

Yes they do!

3 years ago I did not see any orange rods on the lake and then BAM! Orange rods everywhere. Yellow rods? I never saw them and now they are everywhere. My guess is we will see a lot of maroon rods now...probably a bunch of white ones also.

Who cares what tackle tour says about the rod? Tackle tour didn't win the bassmaster classic. I am sure the company's that advertise on their site get the best review's.

I have tried the 7 foot KVD rod and it works very well.

They have them at BPS. Saw some the other day. Huge rods and big around. I actually liked the BPS Cranking Sticks better. They have gone up also. We paid $39.99 for ours and they are $69.99 now.
