That creek has got enough fish for both of us. but up there it's mostly sandies till it warms up a bit more, then the black bass, biguns, will come out to play. Bachman is good for crappie rt now. In about 2 weeks the trophy bass will come out for their annual prespawn feeding binges! No Firetiger FAT A crank will be safe in those waters!

Rudy I noticed you highlighted "unpainted jig head". Does it really make that much of a difference. I'm just curious.

it does in the sense tha people get so hung up on colors, both the skirt AND the head. And as long as i have fished jigs, and with people like Ernest Paty, Guy Skinner, and Papa Peck, it is pretty much a consensus that the fish will bite it if it's presented properly and they are A)hungry, B)annoyed enough by its presence to want to attack, kill or eat it!

Color of the jig head is pretty much irrelevant. I NEVER use em, and i still catch fish!

Looking closely at the sattelite view i see what looks like a dam across the creek inside the golf course grounds. If so, the fish MIGHT not be able to go further upstream.

Anybody know for sure???

George

the fish can't go upstream unless it seriously floods.

tried to access that area to practice jigging with my jigs and grubs.. Couldn't find any parking spot and even i could, there's not a single way to access to the creek unless i own a house near facing that creek... But enlightened by lovfldx, seeing a creek like that in the middle of a city is just way too cool... I am gonna explore some other area like that near public park not far from my location...
