Years a go, our church was involved in Habitat for Humanity, and we built several homes in the Austin area. It made me feel good on the inside knowing that my voluntary workmanship was going to allow a low income family a chance to live a better life style.

We got there at about 8am and it was pretty packed..so I thought.
Ive never really creek fished so this was all new to me. We stop at 1 hole and caught 2 off curly tail grubs. Then we headed on down a few bends and there they were. We fished that last hole rest of the morning from about 9:30am to noon and had 2 limits. BLK/CHRT Roadrunners is what we were throwing. Like Ive said I never fished the creek before and I was amazed at how many whites where in there! They must be on the full blown spawn cause they where dancing on the water. Groups of 2 or more. Ive never seen such a thing like that! Everyone we seen leaving all had decent stringers but I didnt see any limits like our. Ill be back out there come Fri.

Yeah is what i have heard saturday was the day to be there i heard a few guys getting there limits. WEll had to go car shopping with my son yesterday, but got to go today down to irwins bridge and it's the first time i have been there. Did pretty good from 7 am to about 10 am and after that it pretty well died for me. Only caught 12 white bass in that time slot should have brought my truck LOL i might have stay little longer friend wanted to bug out so we left at 11:30 but i still had fun. I also found out those 7 foot rods i had made it very hard to fish that creek LOL oh well just lost one rooster tail so not a bad day.

Cougar thats where we were too. I was in the Red Z71....Dont know if you crossed us or we ever crossed you. We really didnt see too many people. I was supprised. I seen all the vehicles when we got there and no one really fished near us unlike fishing the lake Birch Creek for example...

Yeah i thought i might have seen you i had a light tan ford cap on had a gray t-shirt on with a camo back pack and tackle back hanging on myside with my friend we were in a black dodge dully. Yeah we got there around 6:30 and saw a few cars there but yeah really did not see awhole lot of people around us. I was leaving when the game warden was coming in.

OK Yall may have walked passed us. The Game Warden walked down and chit chatted for a bit. I had on a white Tshirt and a greyish STIHL hat on.
