I've looked high and low on the Internet for a schematic. The only place I can find one is a site that you have to pay a subscription to then pay them for the schematic. Daiwa's site doesn't have schematics back that far.

Anyone got any other ideas? I have three of these baitcasters and need to repair two of them.

PM me if you come up with a site. I have a tendency to forget where all I've posted.

Reel schematics are available on line at www.SouthwesternParts.com for all major brands.

Just click on the Logo for the brand name on the right and follow their menu. Shimano schematics are listed under Customer Service. Just enter your model# in the window of the link below.

Oh, and pre-1986 Daiwa...not Shimano...

Exactly which model ProCaster?

For example, S153i, Z103HA, Z103HLA, several others from which to choose.

If you look on the upper left of the SW Parts home page you will see Reel Parts. click on Daiwa and type SM2A (no- dash) in the model# window.
