The answer to this is to stop using Cajun Line. I have tried many line types this past year experimenting with them to find what I like. Cajun had the most memory I have experienced with any mono. used cajun line 1 time and it was the last only time ive ever had line break thats the last time i listen to the guy behind the counter at academy im stickin with power pro for braid p line for fluro and stren original for mono

hey everyone you guys should use yo-zuri hybrid fishing line. It's very very good. It's sensitive and extremely strong. This is my new favorite line since I got into using it. My uncle introduced this line to me in november and I've been using it ever since.

I'm with Marc on this one. Stretch the lines out and you will have less problems. One word though, never pull aganist the spools when streching lines or pulling up stumps. All lines have their purpose. Dobyns suggested cxx for jerk baits and agree intirely. When throwing most lures in the wind mono just is easier no matter how good you are. My .02

One thing that Id remind yall of is that different fishing lines which have the same rating in terms of pounds test will have different diameters.
Take P-Line CXX, and CX-Premium for example. Both have very similar cross-sectional strength, but CXX is much large per pound test than CX-Premium, but when you compare the breaking strength of CXX, and CX that are very similar in diameter the CX is actually the stronger of the two.
DONT go by pound test rating, GO by diameter of the line.

Above all else hold these two things in the greatest of circumspection; government and self. YOLO=Schiefspiegler

Copoly pretty much sucks in my opinion. When you start fishing the heavier lines, you can't spool as much up as you can with mono or flouro, it has memory problems and once you fuzz up once you are through. It will continue to hang in same spots on the spool until eventually you won't be able to do anything but cut it off and respool.
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

I have had really good luck with Copolymer line and its toughness. Memory is not to bad after stretching it and strenght is awesome.I would strecth it even if I did not need to cause being tight on the spool will make it easier to cast. Floro I have had very bad luck with several brands. If it gets a nick in it, it will break on hook set where the nick is beacause lack of stretch. It would be the weak link. Coploymer has enough shock to get past this happening. When I strecth my line I can tell just how far each one stetches because at the end of the drive is the width of the road. My copolymer will only stretch 5 ft at 75 yds which is about half way across the road and mono like big game and others it will go all the way across the rooad and then some.On a average hook set 40-60 ft out I am driving the hook home. My customers only get Copolymer line on the rods/reels I furnish unless they bring their on.Different Strokes For Different Folks !I like reading all the opinions of all the fisherman out there.

Izorline is the best co-p made and I do stretch it, usually last about a week. I've compared 15# against 17# flouro and can't tell much difference at all.

I have had really good luck with Copolymer line and its toughness. Which copolymer line do you use? And what # test for which application? Thanks for your input!

Copoly is really tough. I guess the bottom line is they all have their pros and cons. The key is to find something that suits you and go with it. I've tried everything but braid and I really like flouro. I only use mono on my topwater and cranking rigs.

Now if you wana get picky the lft fluro is actually a hybrid line, and I have heard it is awesome. More like fluro than anything, but p-line fluroclear is a fluro coated and it stretchs like a bungee cord lol

+1 for Izorline! very good copolymer... low stretch, easy casting and VERY tough. memory is not too bad and KVD conditioner makes it like new!

The copolymer I use is made for Mustad called Pro Plus.It is 100% copolymer and it is the best I have ever used. If I could not use it I would use P-line XXX Gold. The Mustad line did not do well on the market because of poor marketing. No one could find it anywhere when they wanted to buy it. My customers that tried it wanted some also. I did have a customer buy some off of ebay or craigs list. Before they discountinued it I got a hold of enough to last a few years. When everone at Falcon was using braid I was using Pro Plus Copolymer and pulling these fish out of the bushes. I caught a 12 lb with it on one day that got me hung up but could not break me off. It was in some trash to say the least. I use 15 lb on everything except.... Carolina rigs and tx rigs and jigs I use 20 lb.
