I've been up there and seen a little action. Anybody else done the same?

for white bass? heard of a bunch being caught 2 weeks ago but they are on the move. i dont fish for them much but i might if i knew where to find them. i guess around kingtown

They are about 2 miles down stream from the Tram at estes lake.If you dont know the area then i dont suggest trying to get there. You will get lost back in the woods on the water. They seem to be staging but not catching very many. Still a little early. Wish we would get some sun for about a week straight to warm the water. Then it would be ON!!!!

Yea i know where ester lake is but its a long paddle in the pirogue. when the weather was good i caught a few down there around the tram. im waitin for it to warm up again.
and yea i heard Dam B is a pretty neat lake. Ive never been down there but im goin to try and make a trip sometime. I hear thats were tpwd dumps all the gators!

I have fished the forks of the rivers as it's called. I am not too good a river fisherman, but have caught a few big hybrids bank fishing at the dam. Some folks catch them in fromt of the dam on the lake, but takes long range casting gear.
The forks is a very pretty place as is moon lake, first oxbow on the left past the forks. Lots of gators there.

Great site..I live in nac and would love to fish the Angelina... How do you get to the tram??? etc. How far is the tram from hwy 59?? I have launched my two man boat there...59hwy... thanks for the help..

Goto the bank fishing sections and look for the nacogdoches posting, goto page 2 and look for the directions to the tram i posted. Good Luck....
