No bikeman, leave the BB-1NG in the box. It is worth more that way. At least $175.
Yes Cmack, save your v-spools. BB-1Ns with V-spools are pretty desireable, especially new in box. I have some with v-spools and some without.
But yeah I have plenty of BB-1N, BB-1NH, BB-1NG, and BB-1NGH.
I really like the BB-1N and BB-1N SW and the BB-1NGH. I like them all, hah hah. Sweet reels.
But yeah Cmack, do you like the BB-19 GS? That is a sweet looking and perfoming reel too. I have one I use from time to time and some new in box.
I love the original BB-1 too. I have one that is new in box in pristine condition that was one of the first Lew's ever made before they went into production. I think 1979 to 1980 or somehwere around there.
I have one that is really sweet. It's a BB-25 SE limited edition one and it has 6 ball bearings. It is also the #10 reel made in that line and this one has a gold wiffle spool. It casts like a dream too.

I don't really sell any I just collect them but what were you looking for?
There is a guy that sells on eBay from Humble, TX and he also has quite a collection and a good seller. Most of his are Buy It Now.

AJ, I'm not a collector. I'm a user, I just got rid of several boxes with all the paperwork. A couple were Browning era and a couple were earlier. Just threw them in the trash. Shame on me! The BB-19 and I believe they made a BB-25 also were the last produced and were a departure from the BB-1 heritage. I never owned nor used one. I recently had several older Ryobi casters given to me and a couple of them had a V-spool. When I disassembled them they were almost clones of the BB series reels. I heard that Ryobi had built reels for Lew Childre at one time and this pretty much confirmed it.

Well I guess the Lew's are out of the question for a while at least. The wife just surprised me with an Abu Garcia Winch for Valentine's. MMMMWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. JK. I'm pretty stoked.
