Are you/BPS planning on releasing her? well she isn't there b/c this bozo took her to bass pro!! Have BPS put her back in the lake where she belongs!! nice fish though!! you caught her in Scotts Landing Huh??

I agree with USA-1. Its your fish to do with what you want, but the Vine could greatly bebefit by having her genetics still in it

hey josh, i know you are young and new to the vine but ease up on the bashing comment. that fish is an accomplishment that most on the vine have or never will accomplish. angler's choice on what to do with it and dont worry, there are many more like that and larger and im sure that one has its fair share of grandbabies swimmin around out there. dont you work at bps now? if you do i'd becareful what you post here as upper management and corp. frequent this site. oh btw Mr Wiggins, congrats on your catch and that last pic is my old office

Thanks David. Thanks to all you guys so much. I have to give some great credit to the guys at Bass Pro. They went above and beyond for that fish. They baby sat her all night to make sure she was OK. She had air in her bladder and they did not want to fizz her since they have lost some. They also did not want to shock her since the recovery tank was 68 degrees and the lake was 46 degrees. And they gradually increased the temp until it was just right. They did a great job and they told me this afternoon she was doing great and swimming around the tank and diving to the bottom with no problem. She may not have made it if I put her back in the lake. I would also hate to have chanced fizzing a great fish like that.

Jacky, yes your fish can definitely enter into the record book if it is a record for that water body! My partner just got his 10 pounder entered into a record for the Rio Grande. You will have to submit the photo and measurements. Contact: Joedy GrayInland Fisheries (512) 389-8037
Congratulations!
