26 teams took to Lake Tawakoni today in search for the one Weather started out great this morning at it appeared that the weather man got it right, but alas by 9am it was certain that he missed it again as temps stayed in the high 30s all day and the wind gusted up to 20mph. By 2pm the guys and gals were more than happy to come off of the water. Out of the 26 teams 20 brought fish to the scales for a total of 1510lbs.
1st- Ayers and Nobles with 133.35lbs $492.80
2nd- Dupree and Dupree with 125.35lbs $271.04
3rd- Petree and Mounger with 124.55lbs $197.12
4th- Carpenter and Willis with 115.40lbs $147.84
5th- Newsome and Newsome with 110.80lbs $123.20
6th- Pauling and Pauling with 99.85lbs home a pair of Doug Tex Elliot signature series rods from Pro Angler Tackle
7th- Moore and Burnett with 96.35lbs cast net from Moore Deep Nets
8th- Gibson and Elliot with 92.60lbs 2 boxes of no roll sinkers Weights By Chase
9th- Hauth and Watkins with 81.00lbs slabs from Finny Tribe
10th- Simpson and Gardner with 78.35lbs assortment tackle from Team Catfish
11th- Austin and Smith with 71.85lbs hooks from Pro Angler Tackle
Big fish- Hauth and Watkins 55.90lbs

Great job guys, wish yall could of caught a bunch of them hogs like was pulled out of there 2 weeks ago, but with the turn in the weather last week, yall done really good!!!

Congratulations guys  . Ya'll obviously know how to adapt to different weather conditions to get the fish in the boat. Kudos to ya  . I'm going back to the drawing board, or I may sell my boat and gear and take up knitting.

Man that was great guys. How did you deal with the 3ft waves lol. We had a very hard time trying to get an achor to hold anywhere. Channel Cat fishing for us but still that was some dangerous water yesterday. WTG

I think that it was pretty cool that Jjason won a cast net, Chase won some no roll sinkers, and Simpson won some Team Catfish tackle!!!

Was another great time Friday night and even though the weather was a bit windy, we had a great time. Congrats to all. Nice to meet some folks. Time to focus on EM. Don't know anything about the lake, so it will be a challenge for us, but that is what makes us better. Looking forward to the next one!!!
