Went to Samuell Farms this morning, a buddy and I both limited, we were there for about 2 1/2 hours, the first 2 hours only produced a total of three fish, the last half hour ( 15 min really) turned on big time. We were useing yellow power bait

We were at one next to it, its smaller so we figured the fish would be more concentrated and we would have to move around less

Are they still hitting lures at Samuell?

There was one guy fishing a small spoon, and a fly fisherman, neither had any luck...... I threw a small rooster tail a few times before giving up and swithched to power bait

Tried lures at Towne Lake in McKinney without luck today. Switched to Powerbait and limited out. Today's Pictures

I have had some luck using a small pink/white grub when they stop hitting supers.

Limited at Brack again on President's day. caught most on a tiny crankbait that they just can't resist, one on a rooster tail and one with the fly rod on an olive wooly bugger that the trout hit three times before i could set the hook.

you should be able to outfish anybody with power bait with the right set of lures.

you need one silver and one gold super duper in the smallest size they have.

the only other thing you should need is a few mini crankbaits in assorted colors. wallieworld sells them, they are tiny little things and some of them don't run as well as others but they are cheap enough so grab a few.

and use 4lb test line.

do you know what time they stock Samuel farms on wednesday? cough cough i am feeling sick may need to not go to work.

I will be there tomorrow in the afternoon with the deadly white trout super duper.
