craziest story I have heard was about an elite guy at amistad... Ran outa swimming nijas and for some reason could only get the ones he wanted from japan... You can't overnight stuff from japan so the guy called the company bought the bait(honestly probably several) had a guy go to the airport buy a plane ticket, fly to san antonio or somwhere, get a car, drive to amistad... the guy on the plane met the fisherman when the guy was walking out the door to head to the ramp to put in...
total cost 8,000 Sure hope he won some money on that bait!!

Apparently 35.00 and at the time, I couldn't believe it but it turns out my brother was just trying to make me feel bad for losing his bait in a snag.
Like i've said before....if you're not getting caught up, then you're not fishing! LMAO!!!!

He called to ask if they could overnight some baits, when they found they couldn't, Mr. Jackall himself (don't know who this is), got an employee out of bed and sent him on his way. Cheap publicity for Jackall. I think these were still in demo mode as well, so only a few had even been made. If he would have won, it would have something legends are made from.

Walmarts are stocking spring fishing this week. They take last years lures etc. and mark them down. Good bargains till they sell out.

Bought two custom swimbaits while I was in California fishing with the owner of 3:16 Lures Mickey Ellis that were $300 each and a whole sack full of smaller ones that were $80 each.
Don't know what you guys are griping about paying $20 bucks for...
I agree, Mickey builds awsome baits. I have more then I should.
