Best choice you can make. CastAway Skeleton series 7Mag medium heavy SFK7M. If I was told I could only have one rod this would be it, as versatile as they come.

6'8" Shimano Cumara MH Fast. I think it does everything pretty well and is super light for casting all day.

I just recently got a Kistler Magnesium TS 6' 9" (or 10) and I must say I really like it. I use it for weightless soft plastics and Texas rigs. Very good sensitivity and lightweight.

I'd go with Falcon. It's one of the few rods made completely in the US, even the blank. The only thing not made in the US are the FUJI guides.

Actually, about the only thing that is made in the US is the blank, guides - no, seat - no, cork - no, EVA - no (not aware of any US made), thread - maybe US made.

For only one rod, I'd take a 7' medium heavy moderate fast action. You could throw just about anything with it. Powerful and fast enough for most tip up baits, yet slow enough for treble hook baits. Not perfect, but it would do for just about anything.

Started using H&H rods this year, been pleased so far. MH are good all around rod and the Senko Special has a great feel.
