I just hope that I will have to use any method!!! But being a gadget guy I will be heading to BPS to add to my collection of gadgets. I am sure I will be asking BDBlake how to work the dang thing though. It sure helps to have smart friends with a lot of patients.

Here's what I use. The 'scale' not only weighs the fish, but also tells you what color to put on that fish. Then it remembers that weight/color. As you catch one larger and weigh it, it will tell you exactly which one to cull and replace the color on the new fish. You never lose an ounce (or fraction thereof). Pretty slick set-up. And the clip and colored line that clips on the fish, doesn't weigh anything, so the crappie never gets stressed. Available at BPS. Bring money. This is the one I just got for Christmas

I don't know... I never caught more than 7 during any tourney to worry about culling...hehhehehehe...
Just kidding... what Guy and Stucky have, I have one of those for a while now, and can't beat it...

Got the Berkley system Guy and Stucky are using,looks like a good unit and is much more compact than it looked in the pictures. Also got a culling beam now I just have to catch more than 7 fish on lakes I've never fished before.
