Whoever it was that decided to hit my boat trailer at the old Texas Queen ramp last Sunday on Ray Hubbard, you forgot to leave your insurance information. The total damage done was $1,300.00, but thankfully, I have State Farm and they are covering this minus my deductable. However, I will be without my boat for a while, as it is currently at Rockwall Marine awaiting repair. I'm sure whoever you are, you feel really bad about this, so go ahead and drop me a PM, so I can pick up your boat and use it, during the repair time. Yeah right Don't you just love honest people???!!!

Thats a bummer John. My trailer has been hit twice in ramp parking lots. Both were small, one left a note the other did not. It must happen an awful lot. Wish folks would all be as honest as the guy who left me a note. Good luck!!

I've come in twice in the last year and found my trailer has been hit. I wish lessons on backing and pulling trailers were mandatory when you purchase any trailer. Maybe a license should be required?

Anyway, sorry to hear about your rig Nitro.

Sometimes closest to the ramp isnt the best spot either...I jockey for the position that best protects the trailer and truck, and usually back it in.

I would like to think that anyone who would be on the TFF would be enough of a sportsman to be honest and take responsibility. If that's true the note to the culprit will not reach it's intended target here. Sorry it happened though and it is sure something to keep in mind.

John that sucks!!!! People need to be more careful, but accidents happen and it would be nice if that someone was a stand up guy.

That is one reason I do not like public ramps, a lot of novice boat people.
The ramps that you have to pay to launch I feel like they are not a lot of weekenders there especially this time of year, but accidents still happen there as well.

I know Rockwall marine will get it finished promptly, but if you need a quick fishing fix call me.

Sorry bout your trailer nitro..but come on guys.. before we go annointing sainthood to everyone who reads the TFF lets get real...That cracks me up how we think just cuz someone reads the TFF they are perfect and never screw up....I got news for ya..While most of my closest friends have come from the TFF I have witness to plenty of morons as well...Dont think for a minute it cant be someone from here.. thats just plain wishfull thinking...

Sad because I could have fished this morning in the 20mph winds and rain....oh wait, it was dead calm, overcast and no rain I'm hoping to have my boat back by next weekend
