I have switched to a single hook. This makes it easier to get unhung the way Tom said earlier and I do not loose as many fish.

I hate treble hooks.

do you just use the typical flutter spoons you always have, but put a different hook on them?

if so, do you use a short shank hook?

I always thought frog hooks would work well... just a thought

I use a single hook on jigging and flutter spoons. the size of the spoon will detrmine the size of the hook. I like a wide bend hook and big eye like trailer hooks for spinnerbaits. A short shank on the shorter spoons work.

Another plus is that it is faster to unhook a single hook than a treble.
