Anyone have or fished around this light? I got one for X-mas and put it under the dock on X-mas. Dang this thing is bright. I already can see hundreds on baitfish darting around and many bigger fish deep. I cant wait for crappie spawn, I had a great year last year with no light this should really bump it up a notch.

I bought the 24 inch version last year. It works great when you night fish. The bait fish come and the fish follow. I use it off the side of my boat and off docks. At lake Ray Roberts itworks real good.

You can get those 18 inch green lights at Academy for $25. Should work just as well.

I have this thing 10 feet deep and it lights up about a 50 foot circle BRIGHT! I comes on every evening at dusk and goes off at day break. I'm training my crappie to come home every night!

I have the 2 light set up. I have 2 batterys that I put in the boat and run the lights off an inverter. The batterys will run the two 175 watt lamps about 8 hrs. I use them to night fish in the summer, and your right they are very bright.

We used to fish for whites at RC with a 5' greenlight and it's way better than what you can buy at Academy for $25, no comparison. It really brings in the bait fish...then again this spot was so good I have caught them there before with just the floating headlights.

I think we paid about $200 for that 5'...and that was years ago.
