Pet Spoon #13 Silver with white feather. Has a fixed hook so it's easy to de-hook fish. I like rooster tails, but can't stand the little trebles when the action is hot.

Minnows on a split shot set up and sometimes with the old cork. Last year catch 15 whites on 15 cast to start the morning. Catch and cleaned over 500 fish last year

I would use the in-line spinner.

When they are hungry, they'll eat anything that looks like a minnow or has flash. I like to use lures with a single hook. In my experience I get a better fight from a fish with a single hook in it's mouth compared to a mouthful of trebles. On ultralight, the fight from a white bass is just as important to me as the eating. That said, my favorites are jigheads with either curly tails or sassy shads, and if flash is needed to get them to bite....like mentioned numerous times.....road runner.

1" little fishy on a 1/32oz head, small rapala countdowns, 1/16oz rooster tails of various colors depending on water clarity, and if I want to get my limit fast I'll free-line freshly seined spot tailed river minnows on a no 10 hook with as small a split shot as I can get away with.

Pink or Red headed 1/4oz Roadrunner with a chartreuse/glitter curly tail. THE bait to use at the only location I fish the spawn. 1/8oz heads will work too if'n the water ain't runnin' too fast. If the fishin's off a bit, tip the hook with a bit of crawfish meat and hang'on.

Everybody that fishes this particular run knows this already though.
