Nice catch! Those would be Green Sunfish.

I went out yesterday and didn't have any luck either, I was using lures. I usually use Minnows and I always catch something that way.

How are you at throwing plastics? Plastics and in-line spinners are about all I throw and they do real well in the Trinity. Spinners in the current and plastics in the slow moving parts.

I enjoy my trips to Texas and fish as often as I can. Trinity, Lake Worth, and Eagle Mountain.....

Got a few hits in the shallow slow moving parts on plastic worms but no action on spinnerbaits

Nice catch bassitup! Anyone heard anything about the river that flows into the northside of Eagle Mountain Lake? Is that still the Trinity? Any luck around there?

Just a reminder about the fork of the Trinity running just North of downtown Ft. Worth (don't remember which one it is)...from the 7th St Bridge to south of Dallas, it's illegal to possess fish caught in this part of the River due to heavy metals and other bad stuff in the River bottom. Elsewhere, you'll be OK.

Nothing illegal, it is just a consumption ban for certain species.
