Anyone been out to Pop's lately? I was out at the State Park off 37 last night, the lake is 10-15' up over a few months ago, but still really low. I'm contemplating making my way out there, but wasn't sure if it was dry like most of the other public access spots.

I used to go to Goat Hill and Bob's Cove, but both of those places closed down in the last 2 years...are there any other good public access spots? The state park is not so great IMO. I'm looking for bank access since I don't have a boat....yet!

Here is a thread put up a couple days ago. I went a few weeks back and it is pretty good if you are on foot. That was my first time ever being there so I have nothing to gauge it against, but the fish were there.

Sweet! I went back to the state park last night where my cousin yanked a 20"+ carp, it was HUGE!

I'm out of town this weekend, but will definitely be making my way up to pops place next week and the following weekend.
