I went out tonight and it was about what I expected. There were a few decent tackle vendors there but nothing special. Tons of people trying to solicite you with drawings, eyeglass cleaner, shoe polish, guide trips etc. It was pretty annoying. If you have a few hours to spare and are in the area, I guess it is worth the $10. I would not make a full day of it though.

Tell you what,...the Arlington tackle show wasn't as impressive as I expected but the brassn'blades spinnerbait/buzzbaits have some very impressive/unique lures for the serious anglers that know their stuff. They're next to the fish tank..very impressive

It was ok but nothing special. It was easy to see the whole show (hunting and fishing) in less then an hour. I think if I had it to do over, I'd save the 10 bucks and just go to Bass Pro or Cabelas.

I hung out at the Lake Fork Tackle booth, and the Black Angel booth and met some TFF members. Some I already knew and some I just met but knew their screen name.

I thought the tank demo by the Lady Lake Fork guide was good, I walked up a little after she started and didn't catch her name, but she did a demo on drop shotting and using a light c.rig.

Lots of hunting and other non fishing related stuff.

I got to see the new Skeeter FX series, a Phoenix boat, and the new entry level Dobyns rod.

I thought it was worth the ten dollars, better to be there than on the lake fighting the cold wind and 27 degrees.

Check out the Ranger Z-522, it's the show stealer in my opinon.

Looks like a aircraft carrier, it's a sharp looking boat with great colors

But wait, what about a pic of the BSG girls? ...just saying..

If everyone focused on the important things in life, then there would be a shortage of fishing poles.

I went to the show last night with my son.
I bought 2 rods a collectable quantum usa tour rod and a Gary Kline signature edition tour rod.
Their are some good deal on jigs and spiner bait at the santos lure and black angle jig both.
Ther are some good deals but you have to look for them.
We met the TFF at the both and enjoyed agrivating them.

One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

I picked one up that had a reel on it. It felt decent but when you looked down the blank, all the guides were not straight. Not saying they are all like that but the one I picked up was off bad.
