From what I have found out everyone has been accounted for, several were stranded and just beached their boats on the Texas side as well as Mexico and had to be rescued. Those on the Mexico shoreline the Border Patrol was not able to rescue, but did get assistance. Takeoff was at 730am this morning the winds are still howling at 15-20+ and the lake has not stopped rolling all night.

I have fished this lake for over 20+ yrs and these anglers got a taste of what we locals have known for years. Glad everyone is ok.

I know FLW has a precedent of canceling a day of an event. I fished an FLW tourney on Amistad a couple of years ago that had the first day called off. Sure sounds like they missed the boat (I know, really bad pun) on this one. Good luck to everyone and stay safe.

Think of all the money spent for that " enjoyment and entertainment " ..............

Sure makes ya wonder.

Is the reward worth the risk ? I think a good financial advisor would tell you to find another hobby.

A 38 lb sack in those conditions just boggles my mind.

Precisely why I don't fish tournaments. I like to have fun when I fish and there is nothing fun about fishing in the conditions at Falcon, yesterday.

I read his interview. One spot within 45 minutes. That's Falcon for ya. He didn't have to brave the waves too long, lol.
