It casts better than my 7000's. I mainly use them for the line capacity below large dams.

Any Abu's from the 6000 series on up in my opinion. And why? Line capacity, gears, gear ratio, bait clickers, drag system, construction, parts availability (when or it necessary). Made to last! +1

For Big Blues,
Best reel made 1st Shimano Tekota , 2nd best Daiwa Sealine, 3rd Penn Gt
The last would be the 700 Garcia
I mostly use line counter reels
