Caught this weird looking fish at Rick's new place in Arlington. Had no barbels. I am almost certain that it is a goldfish of sorts. Left when it started raining.

Cool! It is a fantail/carp hybrid or something or other!

I fished that place like 5 times back when I worked in Arlington and never caught anything. Guess I will try again sometime.

I would say goldfish, possible hybridized with common.

Goldfish tend to lose their bright orange color in dirty/stained water after a few generations of spawn.

Or it could be some kind of hybrid crucian carp. Whatever it is, it's unique. Nice fish!

I've caught one like that although it wasn't a fan tail. I think the consensus was a goldfish/carp hybrid.
