Thanks for all the advice guys, I have it all sorted (and hopefully protected)now, just need to find the drivers for my wireless card because it wont search them for some reason. No more utor for me. Im still on xp, vista is way too slow for my liking, I'm guessing 7 would be even slower?

no windows 7 is better, it usues less memory than vista and needs less add ons, its almost like mac. before it would take 2 minutes to load up when i forst turn this labtop on,that waswith vista, i went to windows 7 it takes 55 seconds a huge improvment.

Cool, sounds pretty good then. I went back to xp because vista was so slow and figured 7 would be the same just with a bit more on it. I have more important things to get atm tho, like a new net! =)

i hear ya xp is better than vista, if you really look at it, there was a pattern, windows 98 was good, then 2000 sucked, then xp was good, then vista sucks, now windows 7 is good, so im guessing the new windows 8 that i hear is comming soon will suck lol

btw i have a 42inch euro net its not a top quality net but it gets the job done, you will need a handle also. the only thing i didnt like is it doesnot come apart like a true euro net does. you have to unscrew the handle to carry a fish. if you want it let me know ill meet up and give it to you.

The only way to be virus free is to buy a Mac.

mac had viruses as well, not as many as pc, but people have written viruses for macs and the more popular they become the more people will target mac, don't be fooled

There is no reason to upgrade from XP until 2012 when Microsoft stops providing security updates.

I've been working for Apple for 4 years now and people have been saying that since I started. As of right now, there are no known active viruses for the Mac. It's just not that easy to get into our OS. Windows and IE are like open doors.

I was just doing a cruise of my daily websites to check and stumbled across this: Majorgeeks .

I have not personally used it yet, and did some quick research on this program, so far ive not seen anything negative about it, It might be worth a look.

Laterz,
dafanman cool

EDIT: WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!!

I just did a quick scan on my shop system with this program, and at the conclusion of its running it requested to reboot, upon rebooting back into Win7 I discover that the wireless connection is gone >no wireless networks detected, had to rebuild that sucker back in, so be careful with this program if you decide to run it.
