We all want to send out a HUGE thank you to a few groups that really stepped up to help us and joined us in having fun this weekend.

The Stump - for providing all anglers with a free lunch buffet after the event.
American Rodsmiths - for providing every angler a complimentary Chris McCall signature Trap rod!
Needmore Tackle - for providing all anglers a tackle package (including an assortment of traps and spinnerbaits)

This was a ton of fun. Eddie and I only had 3 fish, but we sure enjoyed the heck out of our day. I think we may need to do this again over the Christmas holiday. Maybe a two day event...

Have to say after fishing 45 to 50 tournaments a year, this sure was enjoyable. Laid back, fun can't wait for another one count me and Brent in for another any time.

Most important the group of guys that fished very competitive, yet its hard to find a group of guys thats more fun to be around.

I'll be bored for the next couple of weeks let me know if any of ya'll want to go fun fishing.

Local club tournament next weekend Dec. 12th out of Monterey Park. Get Reel Bass Anglers. I have not fished with them in a couple of years but a lot of the same members from years ago are there as well as when it was Big Thicket Bass Anglers.

Wife and I plan on going.... If anyone is bored....

If I can get up early enough and the donut shop in Kountze is open planning on bringing a couple dozen glazed donuts.

Well, the ICE BOWL, did not dissappoint, we had a blast. Unfortunately, we could not get the fish to cooperate and finished a dissappointing 5th. Well a top 5 is a top 5! Congrats to Keith and Brian "the Hammer." Sorry you didn't win, "THE TODD," I now you had predicted victory on Friday, better luck at Toledo! LMAO! I am ready for the next one, we may have to start our own trail, after we adjust the payback percentage! Thanks to all the great prizes and free meal, c you guys at THE TEXAS SUPERTEAM!

The GREAT CHRIS M, aka. "THE SHADOW" gracing the TFF with his presence, oh should we feel so lucky. I'm saving this post for all time.

Thats fine Brian and I can go fishing, maybe he will show me how too catch some fish and stop taking mine and "THE SHADOWS" money.

Talk about LMAO! This post is knee deep in cow splatter.

I will say that my fishing partner Keith "The Iceman" and I had a great time on Saturday. Looking back, we had a better time than at almost every other tournament this year.

"Ice" (as he is known to his friends) had other reason to celebrate as he recently achieved the 7th level of Jusitsuian Suhavi, a splinter study of the deadly martial art Ti Chi. As usual, his incredible reaction time and perception of the environmental changes definitely added to our success at the tournament. Thanks, Ice, and congratulations on your achievement in Suhavi.

The free stuff, the bs at the dinner, the live band, and everybody joking around before and after the tournament made this event a definite 1st annual tradition in December.

We got a special kick out of the "blizzard conditions". By the 8:00 AM start time, we were taking off most of our cold gear. Later in the evening, we were griping about the sunburn. Wow, what a beautiful day it ended up!

Anyway, thanks again to The Stump, American Rodsmiths, and Needmore Tackle as the freebies really topped off an already awesome event.
