Why dont you make a trip for both Oct and Nov? I bet we could fill it both times (unless your thinking back to the big e with the supposed lower prices)

New Pricing and Schedule is out on their 2010 Calander. 36 hr is now 450 and 60 is 650. If you fished with them they have a early sign up for Regular customers and then open it up for everyone early January. http://www.underwaterexpeditions.net/index.html

OK Wen... but do you want an October or November trip? I want the best weather and fishing of course! Put me down for that.

Here's my official input:
I really enjoyed going long for the tuna this trip, but spending all day trolling is not my cup of tea. Ideally, I'd like to see a combo trip, with a little trolling in the AM or PM on the way to & from the bottom fishing. I like to jig AJ's, I don't need to keep any. that said, this year the yellowfin #'s really weren't that consistent at the "typical" floaters to guarantee good catches for ocho, so I would think we'll need to see what the tuna tell us this summer before we set a trip itinerary in stone. I really want a couple groupers this trip. another thing: a lot of us have been to Venice and caught YF pretty consistently during daylight hours, as Joe has pointed out previously. I would be in for experimenting that way, but I know we'll have to convince the capt, and bring a LOT of bait/chum so I guess my official answer is lets get a consensus, then watch what the fish do this year before we decide.

Yep that is very competative pricing.... but you are also talking about twice the crowd.
The only draw back is 40 folks onboard for a walk on/ will call trip. They did not mention that price for charters.. they just said regulars get first dibs priority on the spots. Once they post the trip dates it's open season to call in for a spot on these Big E trips.

i agree with Brian, i would also like to spend a little more time trying for some bottom dwellers. you can only hang so many poles off the back when trolling and its a lot of sitting around for the people who don't have a pole out...
TOO, are you working with the BIG E for some charter dates if you think we can fill the boat?

i like bottom fishing, and tuna fishing. I dont like doing JUST one or the other, but will go with the groups decision. I just want to get back out there I prefer a mid november trip, as it seems the cooler water is closer and has more tuni in it I do understand the weather will either be nice or yuck... not really an "in between" in this fall month.
