I have always liked to improvise, invent, test, research, experiment, modify, upgrade, etc. all manner of things that I use and methods of doing various tasks.
It is no wonder that I have rod holders that cost multiples of what I could buy them for...but at the same time I have other rod holders that cost practically nothing due to "scrounged" materials.
One for instance, the school maintenance sold a lot of half inch solid aluminum rods...4 foot long. I got 8 of them for a dollar each.
I put a piece of CV pipe on them with radiator clamps and VOILA!! The best bank rod holders I have at the present.
I have worked out several designs and tested them on my Jon Boat but am not satisfied yet. I will keep working!
****Sun sinking low....lines baited.....gentle south breeze blowing...you realize.........I AM! .

You definately need some rod-holders on there, I had some that I took off my boat when I got the Bee Readys, but I gave them to my nephew, if I still had them I would give them to you!!!
I also gave him 4 rod n reels, I wish I had them back now, but I done gave them to him!!!

Hey Guys, thanks for the info on the BeeReadys. I called Ed and told him i was loking for some single and double rod holders for my 1 1/4 inch pontoon rails and he knew exactly what I needed. Even is sending me an extra length bolt so I can get the holders on right. With shipping and handling it was just under a hundred dollars for 6 rod holders but it sure beats sticking the Abu and Ugly stick under the pedestals seats, especially when a 10 lb striper on Texoma hits!!!!!!! No more lost rods!
