Just wanted to let everyone know had my entire boat stolen October the 2nd at the Redwood lodge. The police believe it is in Mexico??

What no one is telling visiting fisherman is that theft is at an all time high at Falcon lake so please be careful!
I have fished Falcon for 30 years and never had an incident? Now I'm finding out that several bass boats and trucks have been stolen this year, and a huge amount of boats and trucks have been broken into!

Bob

We lived in the Rio Grande Valley for 5 years. Finally got smart and moved to Northeast Texas. Theft and drugs are really bad down there. And sabob your right, your boat and evreything is probably in Mexico. We got to where we were scared to let our kids go outside and play by themselves. I'm not putting the Valley down and theres alot of good people down there, you just have to watch yourself when you go down there. Seems to be getting worse around the border.

Men are like fish...If we'd learn to keep our mouth shut, we'd stay out of trouble.

Maybe, a few of the hotels will hire a security guard for the Stren. They should be making real good money and just feeling my stuff is safe at night helps me sleep before a tourney.

My friend Marty Robinson Had his truck broken into to a couple of years ago when the Elite Series was there. Had all his spare tackle and rods stolen. Then the mexican called his wife from the cell phone he also stole and demanded money to return the goods.

Was your truck attached to the boat or was the boat parked seperately. Was the trailer locked, did this happen at night or during the day. Details please, would like to know how to keep this from happening when im down there.

So sorry for your loss Amigo.

Maybe the laws can find for you the boat that was taken from you.

I have been very lucky down there, I haven't had anything broken into....yet. I am leaving Thursday to go down there. I only stay at Osa Blanco. I completely unload everything though. With the economy, it will only get worse!
