Every year I say this one will be the time I go on a trip for Eyes. Dang, every year goes by and I have not gotten to fish for 'em yet. Maybe...... soon.

Caught 2 on Belton years ago. I don't think there any left now and they only stock it once. I ate some in Canada and they sure are good eating fish

Only one, Lake Ray Hubbard about...oh, 30+ years ago. Heard it was a "test" by the TPWD that didn't reallly pan out.
Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Relationship is a guy fishing thinking about God!

I saw my Dad Catch one in Bridgeport once and Eagle Mountain once when I was a kid. He died in 1985 so it was over 24 years ago when they were caught. Probably 82-83

They stocked them in LBJ in the '70's. Said they would/could not reproduce. Every once in a while, somone catches one. Guess they are really old huh?

They stocked some in Conroe back in the '70's but I haven't heard of any being caught there in many years.
