Well i woke up sore as heck from my back and legs. Didn't even think about fishing but the Mrs was pushing me out of bed. She wanted to fish bad. Tom was out there as well. Didn't do to bad,wife got a personal best of 11.2 pounds 29 inches whew. We boated in 9 channels and one blue. Oh and yes Hollywood i was using dk blood. The ones today were caught on a combonation of dk and CJ's shad bait. Heres some pics

well i was waiting to post anything untill i found out if anyone got food poisoning, its been 24 hours and no complaints so i guess i am safe. i am glad to hear everyone enjoyed themselves and want to do it again. think we will wait till march or april though. congrats to all the winners and everyone else cause the fishin and weather was rough. enjoyed meeting some tff'rs hope to meet some more soon. did everyone notice that we didnt stick to our game plan and convoy with eric, thats what happens when you dont stick with the plan. next time we will bring plenty of rope. thanks everyone for the help especially catfish mike. he set up tarps in that wind for a wind break, thawed out the fish, took pics which i will post as soon as Fear gets back tomorrow evening, and kept watch for everything while we were out fishin. I also want to thank Serj, he knows what i am talking about, honest man right there. also want to thank Larry for taking my son Chad out,showing him new things, and giving Chad an excuse to give his Pawpaw and me a hard time till the next one. also want to thank my dad for fishin with me and all the help. thanks to whisker wranglr for all his work and putting up with the hard time some gave him. i am sure you will make the next one. enjoyed it and glad everyone had fun.

Tom I dont know if Larry told you yet, but we decided we are going to have a tourny every week,followed by a fry. We voted and your in charge.

bikeman, grapevine sounds good, since lewisville is a little high and cant get to the boathouse without wading to it i am going to put the boat on the trailer. maybe that will make me go to a different lake. gonna have to meet up with you to show me where they are at, havent fished on grapevine in over 8 years, and it is only 20 minutes from the house.

I get off at 6 friday.lol I work 5 min from the ramp.

I have only fished it twice. And that was for scaled trash fish.

The tournament was great. Was glad to meet many of you. Look forward to seeing you guys on the lake. This is Rene. Serj's brother-in-law. I have a blue/white VIP Bay Stealth center console. Hopefully I can fish the tournament the whole day. Thanks to Tom for setting everything up. I know it takes a lot of time.

I know they are! Every time I fry them, I catch all the neighbors! Driftin sucks on my boat! Im still playing financial catchup so the bee readys havnt happened yet. But I promise the first $40 that the wolves dont take, or my wife and kids dont need, I will get them. Being on the disabled list for over a year sucks!

We can still have a throw together Big Fish, or Big Stringer tourney soon! The kind where we all meet up and maybe pay $5.00 or $10.00 a head, maybe someone can have their gas paid for, and fish from maybe 7:00 till 2:00 or something, we could even fish Grapevine or Lavon, I havn't ever fished either one of them!!!

I like that idea Larry. We all fish somewhere every weekend. Why not darg to the same spot for friendly trash talkin/ big stringer event. I will bring my bungees for rod holders!
The sooner the better for me. Im off all this coming weekend, im on a 3 week rotation.
