Academy no longer does an over the counter exchange on broken rods, at least at the College Station store.

I am sure the reason is that people were bringing in rods that may not have even been bought from the store, broken through carelessness or misadventure, not from a defect.

We have done this to ourselves, by taking advantage of a generous service by a great business, and basically stolen them blind. I don't understand how someone can think this is acceptable.
