Cant find shad!

Looked for shad all day on Belton Lake caught two.

I talked to Tom, and he said he can't find shad, that ain't a good sign!!!

Looks like Gotta bite may get some business in the mornin. I bet Tom hunt til he finds them.

I like to drag a punch bait line straight down about 1 foot from the bottom. Kind of like a chum line. It always catches a few eaters.
Is Tom stayin out all night?

Yea, he is camping, tonite, and I think tomorrow nite too!!!

I ain't going till in the morning, I was hoping they would open Ray Roberts, and I would of went there to get shad, but it ain't open enough!!! I guess I'll just have to take my chances on finding some, I do have some frozen ones, I would rather use fresh, I like to keep them alive till I get ready to cut them for bait!!!

I tried to PM Got a Bite, to get him to save me 2 dozen perch for in the morning to get started with!!!

Brother went out this afternoon and got some shad and a big carp, but fished some this afternoon and used some of the big shad (@#^@#^&*#) So looks like I'll be throwing the net at around 5ish tomorrow too. I hear it's pretty tough out there from Tom and my brother. Good luck in the morning to all
